Securing the Perimeter

ML has been in full Miguel Mouse mode this evening. Miguel Mouse makes do with what she has. Better than Mickey.

We’re renting a village house in the hills above Kas Turkey, no screens on windows, major attack of insect life: mosquitoes of course, a plague the world over, God’s curse on man; plus moths, dozens of moths dying for the light; gnats, miscellaneous flying critters and unnamable many legged things, all swarming inside our house. Went to town, got a few bucks worth of netting and some tape.

ML deployed tape and netting while I swatted, major bug hunt. ML now has perimeter secured. From bugs. Doubt we’ll see an attack of sheep or goats, and the local folks seem quite benign. No need for stronger defenses. Why this woman puts up with me, places I bring her, beyond me. But bless her. Bless her.
